Store Policy

III: Purchases Made Through our Online Store

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

The prices we charge for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.

(iii)Rooted Cuttings, Grafted Rootstocks and Seedlings:

​

Rooted cuttings will conform to the genetics of the specified cultivar and variety.
Grafted rootstocks will conform to the specified cultivar(s) and varieties of their scions ABOVE the graft; rootstocks are selected for hardiness, and may or may not be specified.
Seedlings will conform to the genetics of at least one specified parent, with some degree of genetic variation that is to be expected within the genus.

(iv)Live Plants and Shipping:


Green County Agroforestry guarantees that all plants will be shipped in good growing condition, and accepts no responsibility for damages that might be caused due to events beyond our control.

(v)Organic Growing:


As our plants are grown in a natural environment without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides, it is not unusual to find indications of insect predation or minor damage.  There may be mushrooms growing in the soil of seedling perennials.  Earthworms or their eggs may be present in the soil.  These are consequences of growing in bio dynamic soil, and are no cause for concern.

IV: Returns and Refunds

​

Sometimes, plants fail to thrive out of no fault on the part of either party, and we understand this.  If one of our plants fails to thrive under normal growing practices up to six months from the date of delivery, we will attempt to replace it, up to %10 of the order.  We may request additional information to help diagnose what went wrong - we want your plants to thrive in their new homes!  In the event that a particular item is either temporarily unavailable, or discontinued, we will attempt to provide appropriate replacement(s) through a third party nursery, or provide substitution options of equivalent value.

 V: Third Party Fulfilment

​

In order to reduce overhead, some items available through our online store including apparel, tools, and gardening supplies may be shipped directly from a third party supplier.  The supplier responsible for fulfillment of that part(s) of an individual order will be detailed in the product description, where applicable.
